If you are an adsense publisher, then you must be dying to know what are the top paying keywords out there so you can generate content for those keywords.

Before I give you the link to the list, let me tell you that there are a couple of ways to make money. One is to target those top keywords, and the other is to target the not so popular money making keywords that would only bring you $0.50 a click.

The advantage of the high paying keywords is that, you can make more money for less clicks. The problem is that these keywords are so competitive that it is hard to rank on the search engines using those keywords.

Example. "cheap auto insurance".

As of this writing, google is reporting 25million web pages for that keyword. Now if you have already a site about insurance that is getting a few hundred visitors, then probably you can just add content about cheap auto insurance and you can monetize it easily. If you are starting from scratch, then it would not be a good strategy.

Now if you consider something like "crystal bead craft" which probably costs between $.10 to $.50, you might think that it is not worth it. However, if you check google, there are only 2million results and if you search google with quotes "crystal bead craft" there are only 4 results which gives me an indication that there are only a few, or probably nobody is actually targeting that keyword.

So think about what strategy to use but most importantly, do the work. Generate the content optimized for that keyword and get it ranked.
