2. Write a review on the website you enjoyed the most. Make it catchy and engrossing. In return, you can request that said review be published on the site. Nonetheless, never forget to put a link to your own website.
3. Write a testimonial if your expectations on a purchased product from a website are satisfactorily met. Ask them to publish your testimonial on their site and provide a link to your website.
4. Market your site as a free e-book. Create title page, table of contents, chapters and more. Then, encourage your visitors to give away your e-book inspired site by linking to your website.
5. Create a member only site. In exchange of said membership, make them link to your website.
6. Make your own award site which will be intended for other websites. As an award, give the winner graphic or text link to be placed on the his site.
7. Join or create a 'web ring'. The latter is a group of websites which has agreed to link to each other.
