$90mil Google settlement approved
The $90million dollar google click-fraud settlement has been approved. Now check this out.

Google will give advertising credits that are the equivalent of a $4.50 refund on every $1,000 spent in its ad network during the past 4 1/4 years.

and how about this

No one will receive cash except the lawyers, who will split $30 million.

$30 million for the lawyers and $60 million goes back to the advertisers as credits? Gee, I bet the lawyers can retire now and just live on interest on an island in the Caribbean.

As for google, $4.50 for every $1000 earnings is just cheap change. I honestly don't think it affected their bottomline that much. With Yahoo YPN still in beta and MSN's version of adsense is nowhere to be found, Google will still reap a big chunk of Online Advertising spending.
