Here's a quick birds eye view of the anatomy
of an effective sales pageA good example would be this URL
sample sales page
I'm not saying you buy the product mentioned but that is one example of a good sales page.
An effective sales copy has the following parts
The head of an effective sales copy
1. A catchy title
2. An introductory paragraph with good reason why they should keep on reading the whole page
The body of an effective sales copy
3. Some very compelling testimonials. If the testimonials have pictures or video, the better it is.
4. Benefits of buying the product. What the product can do for you.
5. What you will learn from the product.
6. More testimonials
7. More things about the product your are selling
8. Massive bonuses
The foot of an effective sales copy
9. The action you want your clients to take (click the buy button)
10. A risk free 100% money back guarantee
To have an effective sales copy, all of these parts should work together to get the people to do one specific action which is to buy the product.
If you also notice, it is all in one very big webpage. It has been proven that a single page sales copy (even if its long), outperforms those that are multiple page sales copy.
The reason behind this is that the action you want your visitors to take should be within your sales copy. The more clicks your visitors need to reach the buy button, the lower the sales conversion rate.
