Bing
by Greg Cruey on September 15, 2009
Search Engine Land reported yesterday that Microsoft's new Bing search engine has now climbed past a 10% market share for seach traffic. While that's a long way from Google's 65% market share, it's a new landmark for MIcrosoft - closing in on Yahoo's current 16% market share.
In an effort to boost market share even more, Bing is introducing visual search (Mashable, TechCrunch). It isn't the first time we've talked about visual searching. We'll see how much further visual search boosts Bing ratings.
