Content Is No Longer the ‘King’?!

"Content is King and Web design is queen" – That fact reverberates in the mind of site owners and webmasters.
Recently, there have been several alternatives to what must be considered 'queen' like linking, web metrics, interaction, relevance or keywords.
Nevertheless, majority of the experts agree that it must be web design.
With regards to the 'king', some experts are also saying that content has already been dethroned. Andrew Odlyzko, one of the many experts who says that content is not the 'king', conducted an extensive study on the matter. In part he said, "The Internet is widely regarded as primarily a content delivery system. Yet historically, connectivity has mattered much more than content. Even on the Internet, content is not as important as is often claimed, since it is e-mail that is still the true "killer app."
This might be partially true. Content is not the King but unique content is! Moreover, a unique content is 100% original. Hence, it is advisable to personally write your content or delegate it to someone else who has the expertise.

I totally agree with you. Maybe general content is no longer king, but unique content and user-generated content will go on being No. 1 for a long time.

oh yes, user generated unique content will definitely be No.1 for a long time as it is what search engines like so see.
