Digg purchase rumour digged big time

The rumor regarding Digg being up for purchase with Google and Microsoft as the main bidders has got top attention not just from Digg but from most social media sites. A similar sort of frenzy was on display (and continues) with the $44 billion bid made by Microsoft for Yahoo.
The importance of using social media as a marketing tool cannot be emphasized more.
