Everyone always asks me where do you find good affiliates?? There is no easy answer or magic pill for finding good, productive affiliates. First place you should look are on the affiliate forums. Sites like ABestWeb and Digital Point have great discussions going on all the time about all aspects of affiliate marketing. Go in there and get active! Make posts about things you know about, don't make yourself look stupid by commenting on things you know nothing about. When people respond to your posts, you can go ahead and contact them by email or private message. This is a great way to meet new affiliates. Another good way is to do some searches in Google and Yahoo for products you are selling to see which sites are ranking in the organic search results. Then you can go ahead and contact the webmasters of these sites to see if they are interested in trying out your affiliate program. This method has a low response rate, but the ones you do get will pay off.
