In the past, Internet search engine giant has allowed users to use varied usernames and passwords for different Google services. And these services are tied together under Google accounts umbrella.

Eventually, Adwords/AdSense and google mail were launched to the delight of netizens. In said features, users are able to sign up using email address and a preferred password. This situation resulted to many users having different log in details for various different services.

Now, the search giant is creating new situation by merging all user accounts into 1. In theory a user to Google user will be able to log into Google and obtain access to any of Google's services by simply clicking on the relevant link. This is however not going entirely to plan. This is because many users are left unable to log into many of the services.

For some users this may cause problems and even loss of certain account features. This could be an apparent sign that Google did not plan ahead.
