Google Calendar Sync
Google has become synonymous in the industry for a culture of innovation that results in great products in future. One more such example is the Google Calendar Sync, a utility that synchronizes Google Calendar entries across multiple devices and even with Microsoft Outlook Calendar.
An excerpt from the official Google Blog
Google Calendar Sync, a 2-way syncing application between Google Calendar and the calendar in Microsoft Outlook. I was probably the most excited person on the team when we started developing it, because now I can access my calendar at home or on my laptop, on Google Calendar or in Outlook. When I add an event to the Outlook calendar on my laptop, Google Calendar Sync syncs it to my google Calendar
The application can be looked upon as a way to marry online applications with offline programs, keeping data in sync when connectivity is available.

I tried to sync and I get a message that says “You seem to have outdated timezone information. Please run Microsoft Windows Update”
I did this but it still does not work and gives me the same message.
Can someone help?
