How many keywords do you use in your site? Do you know how many competitors are you sharing your keywords with? The answers to these queries are essential in grabbing good traffic.

For instance, your website is all abut motorcycle parts. You can type in your keyword in the search bar to know the ground where you stand. If you type in aftermarket motorcycle parts in the search bar of Google, you will notice that there are 2,440,000 sites using such keyword.

After knowing such information, is it still advisable to continue using said keyword despite overwhelming competitors?

The answer is YES. Continue using such keyword. Moreover, search for some highly related keywords with fewer competitors.
