But in aiming for good search engine rankings, you must know something about duplicate content, relevancy, as well as content age.
Duplicate content could be either internal or external. Internal duplication of content is easier to manage. If some of your web pages have duplicate content, you can always rewrite them, block the page with robots.txt or eliminate the duplicate. External content duplication, on the other hand, arises when someone picks up your content and publishes it on their web site. It will be worth the effort if you run the content against Copyscape.
Content relevancy as the name implies means that your content should be related to the theme and the subject matter of your site.
What's the age of your content? If you want to yield good search engine position, you need to have the search engine spiders crawl your site frequently. One of the effective ways to do it is to update your site regularly with fresh, new and genuine content. Search engines love content, so make sure that the most part of your site's content is textual rather than imagery.
