How To Keep Kids Safe Online
Filed in archive Industry by noel on January 21, 2007

The burden is quite tough. The interface is bombarded with all sorts of nasty things -viruses, porn, repulsive music and videos, and other online abhorrence. Obviously, parents don't want their kids to be viewing and listening to these stuffs in their formative years.
To monitor kids, some parents use software while others employ a more hands on approach that restricts the use of MSN and other chat programs, downloading, and visiting websites without permission. Some kids are also given limited time online. Most importantly, kids are forewarned about the consequences of online adventures and misdemeanors. To avoid computer viruses, kids are taught how to use Anti Spyware, anti virus
, Firewall and more. There are also parents who set the kids as Limited User account to provide them programs suited to their age. A 2-year old kid is definitely in need of supervision, so are all the kids out there. The thing is not handicapping kids, it's helping them to gradually live in the BIG world.
