This search engine optimization technique does not work for all engines; but it won't hurt other engines if you give it a try. The technique is simple:

You can insert the "alt" attribute to any image on your web page to maximize SEO advantage. SEO experts do not recommend a sentence or two to describe an image; a brief description will do.
What to remember:
1. Use keywords that are found in your metas
2. Describe your image; do not just put plain keywords
3. Do not stuff the description with overwhelming keywords
