When you are looking to increase the production of your affiliates, you have to keeps some things in mind. First, who is the affiliate you are trying to get to produce more? 
Most "super-affiliates" are able to increase their production on their own with a little encouragement from Affiliate Management. Maybe an increase in payout will get them pumped. However, the smaller affiliates, without the track-record of brilliant sales, may or may not know how to increase their productions.
One good way to help the smaller affiliates in your program is to offer them a website building tool that is easy to use. Then all you have to do is guide them through the tool to create their site. Explain to them that the more unique, original content on their sites the better. And if they want to have multiple sites promoting the same keyword phrases, they should host each site on a different server or hosting company. You can even write content for them and give it to them to make their lives really easy. But, at the same time, you should be encouraging your affiliates to build sites with multiple pages targeting a wide-variety of relevant keyword phrases.
For the big-dog super-affiliates, the best thing to do is to pick up the telephone and call them. Build the relationship as much as possible if you want them to focus on your company or products. Provide them with fresh content about the keyword phrases that are promoting. Send them gifts like bonus cash and steaks for their productions. Yes it's all about revenue, but don't underestimate the power of friendship!
