One of the common mistakes of web development enthusiasts is believing that when the web site code has been optimized, search engine spiders can crawl it. That is a big misconception - a myth that needs timely rectification.
Search engine optimization isn't just making the web site crawlable. The crawlability and the use of keywords is just a slice of the whole SEO cake. Just because you add precise metas to your web site doesn't mean search engines will give you top search engine rankings.
Indexing, keyword research, and sure-fire SEO techniques make up good search engine optimization. SEO is a continuous process. Learning doesn't stop. The more exposure you have in the SEO realm the better is your knowledge about the matter.
Doing precise SEO can only be had by combining the right information and experience. A crash course won't suffice. And it's never a one day affair. It is a process that lingers...grows...
