Search Engine Land pointed out something to me recently that I don't think much about...
Google dominates the search engine market. Microsoft dominates the software market. And that's it, right? Not really.
The truth is that in many ways Yahoo dominates the web with content and services. Whether it is maps or mail, sports or news, finances or entertainment Yahoo provides some of the best on the web.
And as GigaOm points out, being the second most popular search engine is still pretty cool.
