Link Building Tip #3 - Links must come from different location on the linking pages
Today's link building tip #3 is about the location of your incoming link as seen from the linking pages.

It is wise to have links from different parts of the pages. Don't have all your backlinks from footer, or from sidebar only. Make sure you have links from header, from the navigation, from footer, from the sidebar, and specially within the main body of the web page.

The best citation (links) are from within the body. Why? Because if the link is within the body, this means you are talking about that link.

Like this paragraph, I can talk about the first link building tip. Click here for link building tip #1. So this paragraph is a citation to the link building tip #1 article.

So when you do link exchanges, make sure you diversify your link location.
