Market Your Site On Facebook
It's not what you know but who you know. If that's the case, a reputable social networking site can do you a favor. Facebook can serve as an influential marketing tool.

Facebook, specially create for college students, is now for everybody. At present, the networking site is serving approximately 46 million members. According to statistics, Facebook is growing by 3% per week since January. By far, the fastest-growing segment belongs to the 25 and above demographic. With a market as big as Facebook, you will have better edge in the industry.

So how do you market your site on Facebook?

1. Promote your site with applications. Facebook is an open-source application; you can create an add-on for the site to start things. If the application is a hit, your website follows its hype.
2. Purchase an ad. Facebook Flyers Basic allows us to purchase and create our own banner-like ad. The ad content should include your site's link.
3. Know your ad targets. A sharper target begets sharper result. Choose targets based on members' education status, workplace, political insights, relationship status, and profile keywords.
