Megaglobe - a new search engine
Filed in archive Using Search Engines by noel on April 25, 2006
There is a new search engine scheduled to be launched this June. According to the press release at TransWorldNews it will offer faster and better quality internet searches.

Megaglobe - a new search engine

Megaglobe.com, which will operate from over 300 individual country-specific URL's and is to be translated into hundreds of languages, is set to challenge its rivals by employing a unique and sophisticated algorithm to improve the quality of Internet searching.

It also has its own "PageRank" like algorithm which they named "Megarank" and this ranking system will be based on the quantity and quality of pages which link to the search result.

As of the moment, I tried to access megaglobe.com and it just shows their logo (see screen capture above).

Will it provide better organic search engine rankings?

Is it more user friendly?

Unfortunately, we can only have the answers to these questions once they launch it by June.
