The title says it all. Early this year, one of the greatest Internet Marketers, Mike Filsaime, lauched his system called "Butterfly Marketing" and he was able to sell 1,500 copies at USD997 in 25 days. That's a really, really good result for one product.

Some of the strategies he used are:

1. He did make the system available to his close friends way before his launch date so he can get valuable feedback on his system as well as get as many testimonials as he can.

2. A lot of Joint Ventures were made. He knew the power of using other people's credibility to sell his product. A lot of good internet marketers have already an established newsletter, or a communication channel with their website visitors and thus people trust them.

The solution is simply to do joint ventures with these "influential" people, and split the profits between them.

3. Employed the power of pre-selling. He purposely delayed the launching of his product. He wanted to create a big buzz so that come launch time, a lot of people are waiting in line to buy.

Just imagine, even months before the launch date, every few weeks, you
get an update on the development of this software, and conditioning the people through words how good this product is and it slowly builds up the excitement level.

4. The use of BONUSES. We all love freebies. If Mike can add these freebies which doesn't cost that much, then he can pump up the value of the whole package. Now, he did something new with bonuses. He created a multi-tier bonus scheme wherein the earlier you buy, the more bonuses you get. People who bought on the first day, received more bonuses from the people who bought a week later.

5. Making a sense of urgency. Aside from the bonuses which created a sense of urgency, he also limited the product to 1,500 copies which added to the urgency of people who are still deciding whether to buy or not.
