Mychingo has introduced a free audio commenting service. For a lack of an easy to remember term for this, I just call it a "commentcast". It basically allows your readers to send audio comments.

MyChingo provides an audio comment system to bloggers and podcasters without requiring them to download software or purchase expensive equipment. "We wanted to add a more personal element to the digital medium," says Bailey. "MyChingo gives podcast listeners and blog readers an opportunity to be heard. With just a microphone, they can record and send a comment with a few clicks."

Its nice to have a feature like this. On a marketing point of view, your site or blog stands out as having one of the few (as of now) to have this feature.

Thinking about it just now while writing this, I think a great marketing use for this is for recording user feedback or testimonials. If you have a product and you've setup a blog about your product to give updates and news about it, you might want to encourage people who already bought your product, to provide testimonials.

If a lot of potential buyers visit your site and hear all these testimonial "commentcasts", then probably there is a higher chance for them to buy your product.
