search engine optimization company

When looking for a good search engine optimization company, there are things to look for and questions to ask. Do you even want to hire a company to do it for you is really the first question. On site SEO is nothing more than having your pages and meta-tags focused on the products you are selling or nature of your site. Each page you add to your site should have it's own specific meta-tags and page content, ex. Satellite dish in New York City. It's always good to target locations with products that sell locally, like flowers, hotels, satellite dish, etc…I say do it your self for on site SEO. For PPC or pay-per-click, this is a little trickier, but definitely doable. The first step is finding the right keywords to target. I like Rapid Keyword, yes it cost $70 but well worth it. Go in and start mining for relavant keywords to your products or theme of your site. Go get thousands of keywords and start them all out at .10/click. Let it run for a few days and then go back in and "optimize" but raising the bid of the keywords that are producing sales. You should use a tracking program to track down to at least the keyword group, if not down to the keyword. Run it like this and hopefully you will get the ROI you are seeking. I vote for doing it yourself…you can put the love and time it will take to make sure it works. But if you don't have the time (1 hour/day or so) then go ahead and try it out with a search engine optimization company.
