SEM’s Paradigm Shift

SEM's Paradigm Shift

As you perhaps observed by now, search engine marketing has gone through an apparent paradigm shift. SEM, at the most, depends on natural search engine traffic to yield sales. In order to enjoy the benefits of web traffic, a website must be indexed by major search engines at the same time attain top SEO rankings.

Websites come in sheer volume. You have to compete with hundreds and thousands of them. Additionally, as a marketer, you have to circumvent erratic changes of search engine algorithm. The modifications have fueled the paradigm shift in SEM.

Moreover, driving traffic to your website requires the use of some tools and techniques. Before, it was quite easy for a site to be indexed using chosen keywords. Webmasters, then, do not have to exert extra effort to thrust sites in search engine database. But the scenario has become more demanding than ever.

On-page and off-page search engine optimization must be maximized. And because of the volume of websites and the techniques required of search engine marketers, it would be insane for him not to use proven SEM tools.
