SES Link Bait Session
In the SES San Jose, Rand Fishkin of SEOmoz did a session about "linkbaiting". He discussed a 13 step launch process which is quite interesting. I wasn't able to attend the SES San Jose but I was looking at the slides he used for that linkbait session.
He posted about this in his blog at seomoz with a link to the slides. If you think about it, that's a link bait. He created a post about his SES linkbait talk so that people can blog out it, promote it, talk about it, and eventually, he will get those Precious one way links like the one I'll be giving at the end of my post. A real linkbait in action.
He also discussed some case studies of sites that increased its link popularity in a short time such as Zillow.com, youtube, and optimus keyboard.
