Using Pay Per Click Ads for testing ad copy
Before launching an online marketing campaign, it is necessary to test different versions of the sales copy and see which one converts the best. Many online marketers fail to see success because of not doing sales copy testing.

The fastest way to test the sales conversion rate of a sales copy is to use Pay Per click advertising. With PPC, one can get a good and diverse source of targeted traffic. The idea is to create one ad and then send it to a URL where it will rotate the incoming traffic to the different sales copy (3 different sales copy should be a nice place to start).

The 2 important data you need to track is how many visitors for each sales copy, and how many sales for each sales copy. Get the convertion rate for each sales copy by dividing sales over the number of visitors to get sales/visitor. The highest sales/visitor ratio would be the best performing sales copy.

You could also refine the best sales page and go over the test again until you are satisfied with the sales convertion rate.

The best about using PPC for testing is that you can set it up within the day and can get a good number of visitors in about a week. For highly competitive keywords, you might even be finished getting your test data after a few days.
