Yahoo has a site called yahoo buzz and in there, you can find some interesting things people search for.
You can also check out the top gainers for the day. Today, the top 3 are
chris gardner 1362% increase
mira sorvino 938% increase
last comic standing 878% increase
You'll probably see a different result if you happen to check the site out on another day, but as I write this, those 3 were the top gainers.
There are also categories like actors, movies, sports, tv ,video games so you can monitor those specific areas.
