Yahoo CEO Describes Art of the Deal (think Overture, Inktomi)

In the latest issue of Working Knowledge by Harvard Business School, you can read Yahoo CEO talking about deal making.

Of most interest to readers would be the mentions of Overture and Inktomi.

According to Semel (CEO, Yahoo), "A deal has to be a game-changer because it takes so much attention away from managing." Also, take special note of the Yellow notepad approach to deal making.
